Principal's Message

Dear Morello Park Elementary Families,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! We are so excited to welcome our students back to campus and watch them soar to new heights in the months ahead.

This year, our team is placing a special focus on the Eagle Code: Be Safe, Be Responsible, Be Respectful, and Be Kind. Our top priority is making sure Morello Park is a safe, welcoming, and supportive nest where every student feels valued, secure, and ready to learn.

A key factor in helping our Eagles fly high is consistent attendance. We are aiming for every student to be present at least 95% of the school year. Regular attendance has a significant impact on academic achievement and social growth, and we deeply appreciate your support in making this a priority.

We also know that our students thrive best when home and school fly in formation together. A strong home-school partnership is vital to student success, and we are committed to working closely with you. Here are a few ways you can help promote your child's success at Morello Park:

  • Fuel Their Day: Ensure your child gets plenty of rest and enjoys a healthy breakfast so they arrive ready to engage and learn.

  • Build Daily Routines: Establish consistent habits at home for homework, reading, and bedtime.

  • Stay Connected: Engage your child in daily conversations about their school day. Ask them what they are learning, how they showed the Eagle Code, and who they connected with.

  • Keep Lines of Communication Open: Communicate regularly with your child's teacher. Together, we form a strong safety net for your child.

  • Reinforce the Eagle Code at Home: Talk about what it means to Be Safe, Be Responsible, Be Respectful, and Be Kind in everyday life.

  • Get Involved: Join our flock! Your presence at school events or participation in our Parent Teacher Association (PTA) sends a powerful message to your child that you value their education.
