I hope everyone had a restful and enjoyable Spring Break. As students transition back into their routines, I want to highlight that this is an important time of year. In the coming weeks, students in designated grades will participate in the CAASPP assessments.
I want to remind everyone of the value and long-term benefits of these assessments. They play a meaningful role in shaping opportunities for our students, our schools, and our District as a whole.
CAASPP results help us:
Inform student learning -Results give teachers and families a clearer picture of each student’s progress and areas for growth.
Strengthen academic ratings -Performance data contributes to how our schools are evaluated at the state level.
Support funding and resources -Strong participation and performance help ensure our schools receive the resources needed to support high‑quality programs.
Showcase what students know -Assessments highlight the hard work happening in classrooms every day.
Enhance the District’s reputation -Strong outcomes reinforce MUSD as a destination district for families and educators.
